Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a kingdom in peril. The Ogre Wars were taking a terrible toll and people were dying. In his fear and desperation, the ruling Duke called upon the dark wizard Rumplestiltskin for aid, and Rumplestiltskin answered.

He would help the Duke and save the land from the Ogres, but his price was the Duke's only daughter, Belle. The Duke refused, not wanting to send his own flesh and blood away with such a beast... but Belle chose to be brave. She vowed to go with Rumplestiltskin and stay with him forever.

Unfortunately, fairytales are not what they used to be. Not since the Evil Queen set a curse upon all the land...



Now, in the small town of Storybrooke, Maine, there is a young woman tucked away in a dark, padded cell who can't always tell what is real and what is not. Visions of an impossible world torment her and a woman with dark eyes and a darker purpose keeps her locked away...
